Lulu Affirmations Terms of Use

Introduction

Welcome to Lulu, a mobile application provided by Marketing Pot Limited. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Lulu. By installing or using Lulu, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not use Lulu. App marketplaces (such as the Apple App Store and Google Play Store) require developers to provide clear terms and conditions for their apps , and these Terms fulfill that requirement.

App Content and License

Lulu is an audio-affirmation app featuring 90 playlists of positive affirmations (50 affirmations each). Playlists are organized into 21 themed backgrounds, each with a unique image and meditation sound. Every affirmation is recorded in three different voices to offer variety. Marketing Pot Limited grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use Lulu’s content on your personal device for personal, non-commercial purposes. All content (affirmation scripts, voice recordings, background images, sounds, and app design) is the property of Marketing Pot Limited or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws . You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any content from Lulu outside of the app without our explicit permission.

Subscription and Payment

Free vs. Premium: Lulu is free to download. Initially, only a selection of basic playlists is available at no charge. To unlock all 90 playlists and access premium affirmations, you must purchase an annual subscription.
Subscription Terms: We offer an auto-renewable yearly subscription priced at USD 29.99. This fee grants full access to all app content for one year from the date of purchase. As Apple explains, “auto-renewable subscriptions provide access to content… on an ongoing basis” and renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled .
Payment Processing: Subscription payments are processed through the device’s app store (e.g. Apple App Store or Google Play). You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your app store account settings. Canceling a subscription prevents future renewals but does not refund any past charges.
Subscription Platform: We use RevenueCat to handle subscription billing and status. RevenueCat “provides subscription infrastructure for mobile apps” , enabling secure processing of payments and management of subscriptions across platforms.
Fees and Refunds: All fees are quoted in US dollars and are non-refundable, except as required by law. Continued access to premium content depends on maintaining an active subscription.

Privacy and Data

No Personal Data: We do not collect any personal information (such as names, email addresses, or precise location) from users of Lulu . We do not require user registration or login, so your identity is never tied to app usage.
Analytics: The only data we collect is anonymous usage information (for example, which playlists are played and error reports) to help us improve Lulu. We use third-party analytics services (Google Firebase and Amplitude) to gather this aggregated data. These providers are contractually obligated to protect any data they receive and to use it only for the purposes of providing analytics . They cannot identify you personally.
No Data Sharing: Because we collect no personal data, we do not sell or share personal information with any third party. We use analytics data solely to enhance Lulu’s performance and user experience.

Third-Party Services

Lulu relies on trusted third-party platforms to operate. We use Google Firebase (for cloud storage and notifications), Amplitude (for anonymous analytics), and RevenueCat (for subscription billing) . Each of these providers has its own terms of service and privacy policies, which govern their data handling. Marketing Pot Limited does not control these third-party services. By using Lulu, you also agree to comply with the terms of those services.

Intellectual Property
